The Jones Advocacy Group was founded In 2019 by Sharon Geuea Jones. The team combines non-profit legal support, lobbying, communications, and membership management skills to provide a robust and customizable suite of services to our clients. Our mission is to help make government transparency and accountability a reality by guiding clients through the legislative, judicial, and regulatory systems.

Sharon Geuea Jones

Sharon is an advocate and licensed attorney in Missouri using her two decades of nonprofit association experience to advocate for individual rights, government transparency, and corporate accountability.

Her experience in policy, politics, and relationship building allow her to connect advocates and organization leaders to key legislative decision-makers. She also has extensive experience managing grassroots and professional organizations. Sharon has written multiple articles for professional publications and is a frequent speaker on advocacy and legal strategy issues.

She currently resides in Columbia, Missouri.

Olivia Pener

Olivia brings community activism and grassroots experience to the Jones Advocacy Group team.

A native of St. Louis, Olivia has served in a number of roles in the not-for-profit sphere, with a specific focus on mental and behavioral health, public health, substance abuse treatment, and the arts. Olivia believes that a focus on client support and meaningful relationship building lays the foundation for effective advocacy, especially in the most difficult of circumstances.

Olivia currently resides in Columbia, Missouri, and is continuing her education by pursuing a degree in Psychology through the University of Massachusetts.

Connor Luebbert

Connor has multiple years of experience working in the Missouri Capitol and has many close relationships with legislators and other consulting firms and advocacy groups. He is on the ground in the Capitol every day making sure clients know what’s coming as soon as possible.

He specializes in translating the capitol jargon into actionable information for our clients and their members. He enjoys training and preparing grassroots organizations for effective lobby days and other Jefferson City events.

Connor currently resides in Osage County, Missouri where he was born and raised.
